Hahahaha, I'm actually quite good
Got about 15kills in one game
Love the fact that there is somewhat no lag, only lag is when you kill somoene takes the game a second to register. Other than that, no problems!
Loving it!

'Kay guys, for those of you who have finished the game, i'm in dire need of assistance.
Started the game on Veteran mode (in hindsight i could kick myself).
Everything is fine and dandy up until the very last level. I'm in Visari's palace on the balcony. Radec's pushing out 3 waves of Helghast, after which some other dudes appear at the far end of the hall with some RPG's. Question: how the hell do you survive this? Any favoured spots (even though i believe ive tried them all) and tactics?
Do you use mainly the grenade launcher, knife, pistol etc. I;ve prob spent a good 4 hours replaying JUST this section, so my frustration levels are just below smashing my controller against my forehead.

Hahahahaha, DUDE! I'm on that same level!
I start out with the helghast rifle, then I switch between that and grenade launcher, aim the launcher in the air so it reaches the otherside. It's easy to survive with it but the problem comes with the RPG's. You have to be real quick with that and the sniper rifle. I haven't tried it again after I died the 5th time but that is the strategy that seems to work.
Also keep moving from one end to the other and check the stairs.
It's friggin hard but that seems to be the one that works.

Cool, will try that. I got so close once - had a perfect view to snipe the one RPG dude, when i got knifed in the back by a Helghast - thought i cleared them all but evidently not. The fact that Rico is a complete waste of space also doesn't help. Are you also on Veteran mode?

nah playing it on normal, but I tend to veer to the MP a lot!
The AI in this game is just too good! I'll give veteran a go once I'm done with the normal skill level. I see Info had a massive KZ2 bash this weekend his MP level jumped quite a bit, while I hardly had time to play. Kerrang you should join once you finish the SP its loadsa fun

Yeah, cant wait for the MP, but i need to finish the SP first. I have played 2 MP games, and the lag seemed minimal, so can't wait. What mode gives you most points for MP? Team Deathmatch?

Also, when you say you lob the grenades in the air, do you stand at the far side of the hall, and lob the grenades to the other end where the enemies spawn?

I find that the combination of all game types has yield the most points for me.
Think my highes so far was 30kills
Team Deathmatch is also a good way but I always struggle to find one and it sucks starting and the game is halfway done.

About the grenades, yup lob them over to where they spawn, have to aim pretty high. Keep a rifle near by so you can switch when the higs come up the stairs unless you spot them early and then just lob grenades down to the stairwells. Most important thing is stay behind the pillars at the back and move side to side especially with the RPG's

guys i need some help how the hell do you destroy that flying robot thing ,when you get trapped ,i know you have to shoot the electrical blue bulbs which shocks him then you use your rpg to shoot at him ,however i find after the 2nd shot that thing goes balistic and starts shooting rockets and bullets all over the place killing you almost instantly i have died about 11times last night

Yeah I finished it on Veteran so what you gotta do is get to the second floor then take out the guy's below you then what you could do is shoot the small pillars with the flames on top that are where Radec is shooting you from wait for the soldiers to run next to them because if you shoot them enough they blow up with a sniper rifle it will take 2 shots to blow them up or you throw alot of grenades when they get closer on the floor below you. Now the last wave with guy's who like to rush you your gonna have be quick and get the grenade launcher and wait for them to come up stair and let rip with the launcher once you've taken them out you can take out the guy's with rgp's with the sniper rifle or grenade launcher try and and be on the far left side of the second floor it's harder for them to hit you then you take on Radec but you should be able to handle him easy

Only 11 times hey? I prob died 111 times on that last section and i'm still not getting past it.

*sigh* Anyway, to beat that flying ATAC, run into the tunnel underneath that pillar thing. It's quite easy then: pop out when the ATAC is close to one of the bulbs and shoot it with your pistol. Once stunned, pull out the rocket launcher and give it 2 shots. Immediately run back into tunnel and avoid the open windows etc, rinse and repeat process till he's finished off.

Run to the lower level after you finished the first shot.
There is more missiles there and better cover as well

You see the stair on either side of you at the start of the fight go down them and there is cover there hide there with a rpg then shoot the blue thingy's with revolver then switch to the rpg do that a couple of times and you should win

Ahh, thanks for the info. When you say shoot the pillars, are these pillars in the spot where the enemies keep spawning ie at the far end of the hall? Also, can i shoot any part of the pillar or should it be a specific section?

So if i got this right, i should do it like this:

1. Take out first wave with rocket launchers or by whatever means.

2. Take out second wave by shooting the pillars.

3. Kill the rest with the grenade launcher.
