KODI vs PLEX

That is pi....ing money away, almost like spending time to install Plex.

Oh, seems Kodi has profiles after all.

Yep, Kodi has profiles.
And when you use a common mysql dbase, you have everything available to you no matter which device you use, your music as well as your video/movie info, to the second you paused it in the lounge and resumed in the bedroom.
Using SALTS (Stream All The Sources) linked into Trakt.tv, you have all the info on what you have watched & when you have watched it, with multiple lists available that you can browse/manipulate via their website or via Kodi.

Kodi also acts as a server for other Kodi devices to connect to. It allows Airplay, and via their Android remote or the Yatse remote gives you near full control with the ability of Airplay etc.

I luv my Kodi. :D

Late to the party here, but in case it hasn't been mentioned, who's using Emby Media server (http://emby.media/) as an alternative to Plex?
I find it works well, easy to setup, and lower resource requirements than Plex. And you don't need to pay for any necessary features, just some not so useful ones.
