Ok, so often we bitch and moan about their lack of delivery and poor service, but today I was seriously impressed.

At around 09:00 this morning my ADSL and phone died, totally dead, no signal, no dialling tone, nothing.

I called in to report the fault and was told there would be a 2 day turn around on repairing the problem (here we go I thought). Within 5 minutes I received an sms confirming that the fault had been logged and quoting the reference number, at 12:02 I received another sms to indicate that the fault was in hand with the tech repair division, at 12:30 a technician arrived and by 14:00 the problem was all sorted and I was up and running.

So for once, well done to Telkom.

Perhaps things are starting to change?
 
Try getting them to fix a not so simple problem, Still waiting since the 3'rd of August.

keep calling them every 2-3 days.

They eventually get peed-off & closed your fault.. Then you start again & again & again....

Eventually you'll be contacted by a quality control department. Someone will come see you & something will be done as per his instructions shortly after that.

Been calling them at least once a day (usually twice a day) since fault was logged...
