Linoman, remember puff puff pass...

But yea, slowly each of those idyits who tuned WA about their offerings is figuring out why the long-term clients defended WA.

Why so you could pay 2k for uncapped?

I will give webafrica one thing their local only accounts that were full int on first connect kept me using like 100gb a month for around 600 bucks so nothing really changed except i don't have to change my username and password 7-10 times a month :p. I also no longer fear my line or power going :D. Freshly loaded 30gb local only account flying at full speed on int news servers and your line drops 1gb into the account . 130 bucks gone :D. Connection stays good it was bargain. I stuck to the 10gb local only cause i knew i would use them up fast, less risk :D.

It was sad for me to leave them though because without those local only accounts i could never have had 70-100gb of int for 600 odd bucks a month.

Like most people, I don't need uncapped. I'm not getting into the capped vs uncapped debate, but on a balance, in South Africa, I have yet to find an uncapped product that would serve my needs (sub R1500).

Like many companies, not all their products suit everyone. For this reason, the one criticism that I used to have for WA was that their product offering was so limited, but I think in the past year or two they've done pretty well to expand/improve on that.

I'm not punting WA blindly here, just pointing out that there are advantages to paying for a supposed premium provider - as in cases such as this one, one gets a premium service.

Each to his own...

Well web africa did well not to climb into a market that they could not compete, look at the whole afrihost thing. They have done very well and stuck in there. It was just that unsustainable comment that they will regret but we all make errors.

I didn't even realise that anything was amiss until I saw everyone complaining. Been running around the web and updating my OS...

Thanks WA
