Interesting I was told the exchange does not need an upgrade but more bandwidth allocated to its backhaul Metro Ethernet Link. The link can do higher speeds but sounds like it is configured lower....

ADSL in Kuils River is still screwed.

Anyways, I've opened yet another fault with Telkom and have also emailed their Escalations department.

It's rather "convenient", though, that there is no phone number to contact Escalations on. Tech support will
only give you their email address.

And the trouble is back... I used to have a 9ms ping to servers in Cape Town. Now I don't even have that as a first hop.
