We booked the flight on 26th June which we used our vitality card to book a flight for my brother and nephew (5 Years Old) from Cape Town to Durban which came to the total of R1920.

We first booked with vitality and noticed we chose JHB-Durban and we redid the booking we only got to choosing time page so never put in details or card details so we redid it with correct details Cape Town to Durban putting every details plus payment details.

The booking Info got emailed to my brother so we told him to check if every info was correct we checked also and it was correct when finalising the booking, but his printed flight statement said JHB - Durban instead.

We checked our credit card and we got charged twice so R1920 came off twice which came to R3840 so thats another error on website.

Fix our flight details please with no charge and refund the R1920 since this is unacceptable that our details were wrong and we got charged twice cause of the error on the website session since it wasn't our fault on user end since we checked the details 3-4 times before submitting.

Everytime we book with them we have same problem also with the credit card being charged twice when booking flight for family or friends and the fact is there is only one ticket shown on the statements and on website so its not like it went through twice.

Kulula.com doesnt want to even refund us or change our flight to correct details free of charge so what do we do next if hellopeter doesnt work? This flight is only in 2 weeks time so gives them time to fix their mess-up.

Anyone else who has had problems with their website especially doing specials days

Edit: I have also reported it to the CPA via email

They wouldnt refund the R3840 so lost so much money and couldnt even fly my Gran instead whos in Pretoria since they wouldnt change names on tickets so the last time I use kulula to book tickets.

Huge money loss to learn a lesson of the incompetency of the small airline companies :(

CPA people never replied back to my email also same with kulula.com

How can they not refund you when you didn't signal any intention to purchase the tickets they gave you? It isn't a valid contract.

How do I get through to them since they so rude on the telephone and the head guys arent answering emails.

Was hoping there was an agent for them here :(

Any ideas what to do next?

Sounds like you paid for 2 tickets and only received 1, which was not the correct ticket either?

For the ticket you did not receive, contact your bank and initiate a credit card dispute on the grounds that service/product paid for wasn't provided. They should then investigate and refund you, unless Kulula can prove that they did indeed issue you with the 2nd ticket. (Though I doubt that they'll refund the one that you actually DID receive - that probably between you an Kulula...)

Thanks will try that and we only received one confirmation email for R1920 and no other ones plus with wrong destinations :D

The bank canceled the two payments on credit card so we happy now :D

Thanks for the suggestion SGS

Pleasure - and that was FAST! (Nice to see a bank actually come to the party and help a client out :))

This is something more people should know about.

Banks will reverse charges on credit cards.... Its one of the reasons I use my credit card to pay for everything... I still have control if something happens on the account that wasn't meant to.
