In their culture, there is an issue surrounding those of them that are more affluent than others.

It basically means; "You are / should be jealous of what I have"

I have seen this sticker of a hand with thumb and forefinger trying to pick something, with the words "Kwaal" underneath it. Can someone explain to me the significance of it? I've seen it on taxi's etc...

Apparently its a clothing brand started by a DJ. "Kwaal" being slang for jealousy and the hand being the symbol for "be cool, don't be jealous".

I would take any meaning given here with a wheelbarrow of salt. Stickers on vehicles rarely have any real meaning. Taxis have been driving around with the logo of a well-known electrical company for years. The little man with his hands behind his back. So this mighthave no meaning at all.

Same as the Hilux bakkies with John Deere or KTM stickers on. Very few of the drivers actually own any of those.
