KZN dwarf missing

Jeez. People get it through your minds. I use the word dwarf and didn't say I am against it. I said I had a problem with it being the only descriptor in the title. People have corrected me saying it is a SAPA title so all of you get noddy badges.

What on earth are you expecting here? The jokes are inevitable - whether it's mentioned in the thread title or discovered later. Would you prefer that her height not be mentioned at all? Should it just read "person missing - no details allowed because nfbs has a stick so far up his arse he's germinating flowers in his gut"?

Thanks for informing me about the SAPA title. I didn't know the OP just reposts telegraph style SAPA titles. He probably uses a Bot to do this so it was wrong for me to jump to conclusion and I aplogise to him. I feel it doesn't explain why some of you have to start becoming personal and misconstruing what I have said. In the post you quoted of mine I said I don't have a problem with the description saying she is a dwarf but only having "Missing dwarf"in the title looks sensationalist and not informative.

I agree her sex and age in the title would have been helpful. Being a dwarf isn't your whole being. I am sure she identifies with being a woman, student ,20 years old just as much as she identifies with being a dwarf. So if she reads this thread she might get upset. Just having missing dwarf in the title could mean an actor in Snow White, piece of art or a statue. In the same way GaryvdW identifies with more than being middle-aged, obese and bald.

If she left home for the first time alone without informing anyone there is a chace she ran away. She is at a very self conscious age and might even have suicidal thoughts so that is why I didn't like the thread title.

I didn't know you repost SAPA titles verbatim . SAPA titles are typically in telegraph style like this one and my understanding was that news sites change the title because of this.
I wonder how do you get the SAPA notifications? It isn't indexed by google or do you monitor?

If she is found and later finds this thread then will this make her feel good or bad about herself? I can imagine suicide among dwarves are quite high.

All I am asking is that people be more sensitive about this and not post jokes which I feel this thread was starting to turn into before I "derailed" it. Sure you can crucify me and misconstrue what I am said but just consider her feelings as well. Even if she is found, this thread not the original SAPA title will be indexed by google and while you might have long since forgotten about it she might get the wrong impressionthat this thread is about making fun of her.
 
I hope the authorities find her in short order.

I'll admit, I laughed. Both at the thread title and some of the posts. Then again I laugh at pretty much anything. That doesn't take away from the seriousness of the incident and I'm sure that those with any info will come forth, and I'm pretty certain that nobody here wishes any ill fate on her. You need to lighten up a little bud...

I do have a problem with your thread title. I am sure she has many other attributes apart from being short. You could have put 20 year old woman from Durban is missing and then in the description allude to the fact that she is a dwarf. I would have no problem with it but instead you put the title "KZN dwarf missing".

Mybb has very high SEO and she might be suicidal and reading this thread with jokes brought on by your stupid thread title trying to focus on her being a dwarf instead of 20 year old young woman that possibly ran away from home and is vulnerable right now is stupid.

For those who are going to argue with me saying it is not derogatory then first before you decide do you have a problem with me posting a new thread with title "Bald and obese middle-aged man is mybroadband member of the year" with the photo of GaryvdW. oh for crying out aloud.........don't mind me while i just call you stupid. now off i am to find a dwarf person in the durban area. or as her sister called her, midget. what difference does it make, i'm not going to be looking for a 6 foot 4 person, i'm going to be looking closer to the ground in this case.

Apparently her facebook profile isnt visible anymore so I am guessing she doesn't want to get found.
At 20 your are too emotional to make big life decisions so hopefully she didnt do anything stupid.
