KZN facing worst drought since 1982

For anybody wanting to use the N2 this side (towards toti), the N --> S lane is ok and moving with no big congestion, be careful some cars coming the other way.
S--> N still a huge mess
 
CONFIRMED: Disaster management has confirmed the bridge at N2/M41 at Gateway has started to cave in and could collapse. Emergency services are on the scene to close off the area and motorists are urged to avoid this route.

From the Disaster Management team in eThekwini .... this was a false alarm. bridge is not about to collapse.
 

That was when the demolished the deck launching platform coming from Mt Edgecombe side around a year ago.
 
Coming from Durban South industrial area past Toti an hour or 2 ago its a mess out there towards Prospecton..
Big billboards folded up like paper, and plenty roofs and trees all over the place not where they should be.

100% agree...

But I reckon people (in the engineering/emergency services) area were worried, but after it got looked at they decided it wasn't a risk.

The picture is very real, but it was a controlled demo some time ago that was previously also associated with storm damage.
