@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

Also have the same issue as Cavedog - same response I got from their support
They say its a 1 month roll over only

Yet their site shows this under benefits:

-Highly-prioritised data for access accounts such as ADSL and VDSL
-Prioritised/Unshaped usage
-Offered on all line speeds
-Cost-effective
-Unused bandwidth rolls over to the following month
-The roll over does not expire, while in contract

-Packages are available on month to month basis

Very misleading and false advertising

Considering cancelling

I am also looking for a 10mb uncapped ish solution. Was going through this thread and looks good until a few comments. So what you guys still think i should go for this

I can actually deal with the 1 month roll over. That is not a deal breaker for me BUT the way the data is cunsumed is a BIG problem.

Why do we have to use all the months allocation first before the rolled over data is being used. Why. That means that Vox is actually very sneaky to make those rolled over data actually expiry....

Very sneak and skelm from them. Not happy with that. From a performance point of view its THE best offering in SA now for the price but the red tape is very irritating.

So basically what happened they just emailed me a usage report from March that includes ALL data both peak and uncapped bolt on. Its so bad that 1 session is the whole day mixed between peak and uncapped usage meaning there is NO WAY to calculate which is peak or uncapped usage.

No message body at all. Just the usage emailed to me and my ticket closed with them. Looks like I'm cancelling cause they have false advertising on their website saying no expiry. This is how it works and I'm sure most of you will confirm this going into the second month.

*1 month roll over then it expires.

Consumption of data in this way...

1. The months allocated data FIRST
2. Then what ever roll over data from the previous month
3. Then you will go out of bundle.

So if you do not use all of the new months allocation AND the roll over data in month 2 only data left of the new allocation will be rolled over meaning data only rolls over once.

Very dissapointing and SHOCKING from vox and the support is horrible. Maybe they will sort me out after this port but I will be changing after being a client with them since June 2012.

I kept my usage in tack downloading the stuff I wanted off peak knowing that all the roll over data will help me on public holidays or the days that I need lots of data in peak time but now since I lost 44GB of peak time data I feel so cheated. I mean 44GB fat pipe data is like almost R170 worth of data.

*guess I have to change my sig now.

HI,

In no way have we mislead the public. Please could you inform me of the individual from our support team who gave you this misleading information.
As per our terms and conditions, all data rolls over and never expires for the duration of the contract. Only once the contract is cancelled, will the rolled over data be forfeited.

If any one else is experiencing this issue please PM you account number so that we can rectify the situation immediately.

Regards,
Voxy

Thank you for the sound feedback Voxy. Please let us know when this bug is fixed, as I really want to stick to Vox. :)

Thanks Voxy.

I was actually reffering to the website and what you have confirmed now that the data is not supposed to expire which I appreciate but that is not what is happening with my account. The data is being expired after 1 month. Have sent you a pm yesterday already but heard nothing back.

I posted what happened on my account and how usage is being consumed.

Thanks for the Call. They fixed the roll over and confirmed that data does not expire. There was a bug that seems to be fixed. I'm happy now.

Thanks Voxy - I checked my account now and can see that the proper amount is reflected.

You may ignore my PM

The lady that told me about the 1 month roll over is Regardt Wolmarans

Thanks
