Weird thing happened last night. My wifi on my router was going terribly slow, but speedtests via LAN was normal.

What would be considered excessive usage on this bolt-on account? In the evening I generally do light browsing and watching youtube vids etc. and then I have my usenet downloads running from 11PM to 6AM.

So what's the concensus on this?

I know the VOX capped accounts are amazing, but this uncapped bolt on just seems too cheap. What's wrong with it?

Do you notice a speed degradation when going from capped to uncapped?

Shhhh! Don't tell anyone... its terrible ;) (I get full speed, but I only use this account after hours for torrenting - so cant comment on capped vs uncapped)

Not sure if I am easily pleased but its kind of nice getting through to talk to someone on the phone this time of the evening. Not having to wait 3/4 hours between email replies is kind of nice.

Shhhh. Fight club...

All this talk of a certain movie has made me want to watch it again thanks guys mmmm wonder if its on netflix

10 meg line
Busy downloading from news servers via Astraweb and getting all of 100 to 150 kbps. Very poor.

Anyone else battling?

P2p dead tonight, trying to stream on xbmctorrent. Anyone else having issues?

Do you guys honestly think they will increase the dead after hour capacity to cater to R59 a month users?

Don't ruin a good thing guys.

My international ping has been dodgy with the Vox / Atlantic account lately while the backup account with another ISP has been fine.

Lots of latency spikes and slowdowns in bandwidth for the past few days but today it's been useless on the latency side, having a ping that at best is hitting 450+ makes pretty much any attempt at online games futile, that's 450+ when lucky with it often going over 800+ for extended periods.

Even pinging a website is getting 450+ where the other ISP account is just over 200 consistently, unfortunately the backup account is just that with a very low cap. For a while I've been hoping the latency spikes would be sorted out not become drastically worse.

Any ideas how long this latency problem is going to be going on for on the Vox/Atlantic side?

I'm rather scared of contacting support because they always seem fixated on blaming my WIFI/router/anything on my side, despite other ISP accounts working fine, of course that's presuming they don't flat out hang up again.

Well it always flies fullspeed. Upgraded to 10Mbps line today so wanted to take it for a spin. Find it strange that I can't connect to a single peer. everything else is fine though, just p2p protocol...want to know whats up.

P2P not running at full line speed but at least hovering between 50% and 90% of the expected 200KB/s. Refused to connect to any trackers though: Connection timed out
Had to give it a hand with a capped account and then switched over once it had enough metadata etc etc.

I am getting full line speed on p2p but there is def a issue with international latency.

Edit: Never mind, latency just went back down to normal.
