@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

I am getting full line speed on p2p but there is def a issue with international latency.
Edit: Never mind, latency just went back down to normal.

Jip jip, latency normal again, trackers connecting etc etc :D

At least you guys have adsl. Damn DSL light has been out since I got up thus morning.

**friendly note to uncapped bol on users that today does not count towards uncapped bolt on. Awesomeness will return tonight 6pm sharp... :)

So how much do you guys pull a month.... can you hit 300GB a month on a 4mb line?

ADLS 4mb Line: R299
VOX 50GB Fat: R179

This is not a contest to pull as much as you can, and brag about it, for that, there is Axxess, Afrihost, and the rest.
The fat pipe together with the bold-on package were the only solution for hassle free streaming of Netflix and Hulu for me.
You can pull 1TB with the others, but streaming is always problematic.
Please don't rune it for us.

Agree 100 % from the other 3 isp's I've tried this is the only option that works great with Netflix. :)

A contest??? how did you get that from the post.

I am try to see if it is work moving as a Telkom's 4Mb Uncapped goes for R705... So this is cheaper and like you said you don't have streaming issues.

So the reason for me stating 300GB(mostly youtube) is because that's the most I have ever done in a month with Telkom.
(You pulled 1TB... you sound like move of a hog than me...)

So can the bolt-on package give me the same download capacity but with better streaming/pings and so on....? As I have no problem setting updates to run after 6 or 8pm.

Correction in price calculation...

So is worth it?

I split my usage over multiple accounts. The most I do in a month on this account is maybe 80-100gb. I disagree with abuse of this service, as I enjoy the quality. Therefor, I don't hog it myself.

Does anybody know what would be considered abuse? 300gb on a 4mb line sounds a lot to me. I was actually surprised I even hit that.
I unfortunately have YouTube lovers that also use the internet.
I was shocked to find that on a day(24hrs), in total we did 15gb in on day and 80% of it was YouTube videos.

I run a primary day to day account with another ISP and use the bolt on for big downloads mainly over weekends. It is my top up / excess account. I only use this account when I need to as am running out of capacity on my primary account.

It is a great deal and I do agree with the need not to abuse it
