I should get a fancy router that can change ISP's automatically. then I can have the best of both worlds...since the Bolton is strictly after midnight only...

that's when it appears to be open to the 'whole' internet. could only get onto my companies website at 12:30am this morning. mybb loaded. nntp was 'working' at 250KB/s on a 4mbps line. pretty shyte.
 
When mybb would not load yesterday, I pinged the site, and all the packets were coming back ok with normal pings. Dns was resolving. But, again, in browser - could not load. Why is that?
 
This was predicted though. Finite amount of excess bandwidth, sell it off for a small amount.

People talk, boom, service saturated. At least I didn't fork out the price for the fatpipe 40mb combo like some other guys...

I've asked VOXY for technical feedback - the lack of a formal communication on the forums relating to all these South network issues is more than deafening.

It's more than starting to look that way, yes.

Last call I had from support over the weekend suggested maybe "seacom" is down.

Um. Ok.

Something is down, but it ain't seacom.
 
It starting to feel like my bolt on is being shaped...Speed test is giving me 10 meg speeds but downloads are going so damn slow....

My torrents were downloading at the right speed, as are my usenet downloads.

So def no shaping for me.

This saddens me...My torrents are **** slow and usenet downloads going at a max of 200 kbps...
And everything flys when I use a capped account....
