Which laptop would you guys recommend 15 inch screen, obviously looking for a nicely discounted one.

Looking for something with really good specs. Been following Ryzen AMD vs Intel Processors but there are just too many options, kind of confusing these days which is best chip etc.

Not sure when the new ryzen laptops are launching, but that should do the trick.

RTX 2060 6GB DDR6 vs GTX 1650Ti 4 GB GDDR5 Max-Q
32BG DDR4 RAM vs 32 DDR4 RAM 2666MHz RAM not sure MHZ on DELL but assume its same ?
Intel Core i7-9750H up to 4.5GHz Processor vs i7-9850H (6 Core Processor 2.6GHz up to 4.6GHz same spec processor wise.

looks like DELL is stronger on graphics ?

This one also caught my attention but one you sent seems to be better spec?

Yes dell much stronger graphics. The main is the support.

Lenovo support is useless it goes through partserve.

Dell has the best next business day support.

For +- R30K, this is my recommendation: https://www.nucleustech.co.za/produ...treme-i7-9850h-32gb-ram-1tb-ssd-4k-touch-oled

  • The X1 Extreme is easy the best bang for buck with the best all around specs.
  • Gorgeous HDR screen
  • More than enough GPU power for casual gaming or rendering (If its only for gaming then yes, you need an RTX card)
  • This particular machine will save you from Partserve as it has on site Pro Warranty :) which as stated above would've been a nightmare to deal with.

Dell with 3 year onsite warranty. Take the best one in the budget. Evetech usually the cheapest. You won't have to worry about their after sales as the warranty will be with dell and they come to your house.

Be careful to buy demos that is too good to be true. Check the warranty, they usually state 3 years, but they won't tell you it is only the remaining time on those 3 years. Check for false advertising. Demos can also mean refurbished with second hand parts.

@Flashgear does this particular laptop come with the Full 3 year warranty as advertised?

What does international warranty mean?

Is there local onsite warranty support on that international warranty?

Before you go with Lenova, Acer etc.
They deal with Part Serve. Just Google part serve or do a search on this forum.

Can't beat dell's onsite warranty

Thanks guys for inputs.

Leaning towards dell purely for RTX2060 and 32GB RAM. Design wise though not fan.

Thats a brand new laptop, and all of their laptops come with warranty.

I've bought plenty of laptops from them and havent had an issue.

+1 for me from @Flashgear

Definitely can’t beat Dells warranty.

The Lenovo X1 Extreme however does come with 3 Year On Site warranty, internationally. It’s their premium product.

Because as you say partserve are the worst. Terrible attitude and terrible communication.

Yeah. I have had bad experience with them in KZN. Then I checked online. Goodness....
