Laptop keyboard for PC - help me find

I know I have asked this before, but I can't remember what people said. nor can I find the thread where I asked the question.

I want a laptop keyboard, for PC. In that, all it has to have are these soft-touch keys, that make almost no noise when depressed. I don't need fancy backlighting or crazy gaming keys, joysticks or phones.

Just the keyboard from a lappie that you can plug into a PC.

Where can I find such a thing? And what do I ask for to prevent myself sounding such a noob? Not that that matters if I go to IC :)

There's a BenQ keyboard you can get from Esquire that is pretty much like a notebook keyboard. Super soft-touch, and very quiet.

Any kind of link to it? And how much is it?

I have checked IC and ComputerMania and they don't seem to have such things...
 
I have one. I use it at the office. Got it after my dinovo.
Best darn keyboard I ever had (2nd to the dinovo ofcourse), so yes it is worth every cent in the R322 price tag.

I vote for the MS Comfort Curve. Love it so much I bought one for work and a spare for home in case mine breaks
 
Dinovo is king. A bit of a bitch sometimes getting the stupid bluetooth to work on XP SP2 and sometimes SP3.

I'm on my 3rd one. :) Shorted out the first one on my jersey of all things trying to fix their originally problematic keys. 2nd one drank my beer. Third one seems to have issues sorted out with regards to the keys. I just hate the small ENTER key as these were intended for US market.

Bank manager hates me.
 
I have seen labtec ones at game for quite cheap. Take a look.
 
Completely forgot about labtec. They should be as good as that logitech.
There is also the Genius Slimstar stuff. I think it's the Slimstar C100 or 110. I think they're something like R100 or so. Can't remember now.
 
Labtec make keyboards made for use with a laptop. I had a labtec keyboard I used for my PC when my dad's laptop got stolen and it's very quiet and it's the same width as a laptop... And then I reversed the voltage on a USB port and it got fried... So I bought a Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 :D
 
Gonna check out the Microsoft Comfort Curve today. Played around on one yesterday - seems to be what I am looking for, and at the right price :)
 
Very decent keyboard and very easy to type on. I type a lot faster on the Comfort Curve than most other keyboards (except some laptop keyboards)

I think they might have had one instore somewhere...but it might have been sealed in a box, cos I'd've bought it otherwise...

I've had one of those for many years now and it is the best keyboard I have ever used.

I gave one of those away right after I purchased it, hated it.
 
I've never been able to get the hang of those curved keyboards. On this current dinovo I sometimes find the ENTER key is too small and left SHIFT as well, it being some US spec dinovo they sell here, while the others I had were EU imports and had perfect layout. If key location and size bug me then a curved board will drive me mad.
 
Went for the comfort curve in the end. IC had them for R250. The keys are certainly what I was looking for in terms of silence.
The curved shape is taking a bit of getting used to, though...
