Laptop or Ipod Touch :D

As the title says i am looking at getting myself more mobile.
I was originally going to get an Ipod Touch (My MP3 player died :( ) but then figured i can use my PSP for music, even if its not that great.

The laptop i was going to get is the ASUS 1201N.
Both would be used for browsing over Wi-Fi, light gaming (yes different type of games but the Ipod ones will be more for pick up and go).

May seem like a stupid question but i really can't decide. More portability vs more power. lol.

Get a laptop with an SSD. If not possible with ASUS buy the Intel X25M 160GB seperately and put that in your laptop and then you can really not worry about hard drive crashes.
These cost around R5K. Kingston 160GB is same as Intel 160GB but may be cheaper.

You'll still need a PC to sync with - how else will you put all those moviez and music on the iPad - buying from iTunes US is illegal btw. Even if buying from US were legal, 3G data for buying and dl'ng movies and music is expensive. Ripping own DVDs and CDs is cheaper (free).
 
iPad actually sounds like exactly what you need. Browsing, wi-fi, light gaming, reading - I don't see what's so gimmicky about it.
 
rofl, dam was trying to avoid it, haha. Will have to have a look at them then. Does it have a 3.5mm port?
 
Well not really, but knowing my luck as i buy it i will be kicking myself over the fact it doesn't and probably never will support it lol.
Can the Ipad be jail broken :p
 
No there's no Jailbreak. Don't worry Flash is becoming increasingly irrelevant.
