Laptop recommendations

Hi guys please could you help me with deciding which laptop would be best for me.

I’m currently in the design and content creation field, and looking for a high end laptop. I was considering the new MacBook Pro but the reviews I’ve seen aren’t that great . I’ve seen some laptops on Evetech but not sure what to really look out for.

I mainly do photography and video editing with adobe suite. Should I go with the MacBook Pro or could you recommend something better, I can use both OS systems. My budget is around R45000

I’m using the new Macbook Pro 15”, were very cautious as allot of Youtube reviews were negative as well as battery issues, but till today the notebook impress.

I have issues if you compare MS Excel on Mac vs Win10, but everything else work so much better on the Mac.

I would look only at 2 types Dell XPS 15 or Apple Macbook Pro 15.

I would rather build a home workstation with that budget hey, that way some things will be upgradeable unless you really want something mobile.

I currently have the 2017 Macbook, which was a bargain but it's not that great performance wise. I normally use it for simple things, I would colour grade any video projects and render on my windows machine. Evetech built my machine, was around R32k.

I don’t really need to be mobile but I will need something portable just when I present to client. How’s your experience been with Evetech, any issues?

Which do you prefer your windows or MacBook?

I’ve previously been using a MacBook 3 years old unfortunately it was stolen. Really considering the new MacBook Pro . A lot of people seem to be advising I look at alternatives

I honestly prefer Macbook for colours.
