See this post on your own thread: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/is-lasik-worth-it.1279423/post-32658417To the okes that have done it, are the follow up appointments after the procedure (six months and a year) really necessary if everything turns out fine? I see that they want me to pay for this (it isin't covered by the lump surgery fee) and as I don't have medical aid, will have to do it out of cash.
These are the hidden costs I mentioned as they don't include it in the surgery cost. Another thing is the treatment you have to get after the surgery. It cost me over R1k when I took the script they gave to the pharmacy. Fortunately, I won't have to buy those drops again as my eyes are healing well.
Depends where you go. I paid over R30k but altogether will probably pay around 40k with all the hidden costs.
, there is a risk when they open the cornea flap, and zap your eyes, that it wont improve anything,

I did, I found a goyim who agreed to keep it all in storage for me,PS: Did you remember to sell your leftover hametz before sundown today?!
Just like the dentist that you must go see annually. How long after do the "follow-up appointments" last in your cases (to those who did it)? I thought everything would be done after a year but now the doc seems to say I have to come every year. Not that it's a hefty amount but the cost of each check-up is probably the cost of buying a lower end glasses frame.

It's a good thing to do yes, but practically does it add value? You decide.
