If you pay cash they'll give you a discount. Paid R13.5k for mine at the place in Cresta (forget it's name. Dr. Le Roux)

That was in 2006. Best thing I've ever done

Visiomed. Did mine in 2009. Around 18k. Much preferred this place to Pretoria Eye Institute, nicer people, place, and just felt more professional.
 
Also did mine in 2009. Best money I ever spent! Definitely worth it.

I went to Ocumed in Vanderbijlpark. Everything went perfectly so I can recommend them for anyone in the area.
 
Had mine done +- 15 yrs ago, when it first came into the country, and still remembered that Bankmed covered the full cost of the op. Had mine done at the Sandhurst Lasik Centre by Dr Mark Deist.

Would totally recommend it and I am sure that the technology has advanced substantially since then.

He is the best, i think it would be safe to say that he was one of the pioneers in SA wih regards to Lasik.

Incredibly nice guy as well.

I was hijacked and a piece of the window chip cut my eyeball. Dr Deist saw within an hour on a Sunday with no charge and operated on me the next day.
