Latest available OS

I'm on .546. Had a problem with freezing on previous, not sure ver # but was 6.0.0.xxx

Just upgraded my Torch to 6.0.0.570. Has anybody seen a decent changelog or review on this yet?

I got the Torch 6.0.0.576. I'm getting a little smoother functionality and my browser is actually functioning a little faster (not exceptional but then again the BlackBerry Default Browswer has been known to be poor in performance). I must say though, at least the pop-up blocker of the browser is effective - it actually stops those annoying pop-ups. It was annoying clicking a link and having a new tab open that had nothing to do with the page I was looking for.

In case no one has heard of it, you can check out www.blackberryos.com. They have updates as they come (leaked) and some other pretty helpful hints and even cool downloads.

.576 works well so far

Give it a bit, i had that on and went through all the additional trouble to downgrade it was so bad, memory leaks, battery drains as well as i think it was that version where my GPS did not work either
You should really upgrade to .600, i think its the only proper os6 release.

Yep I agree, been using .600 on the Torch and its been working brilliantly.
Give it a go its stable for me.

Im loving .576 no issues
The crackberry link for .600 is broken, do you perhaps have another one?

YEa 576 means my battery is useless only getting like a day out of it. Cranial, I see that .600 is an exe file how do I go about updating my 9780 with the vodafone.de .600? I dont want to brick it

All the updates are exe files, you update the same way you did before.

How does the .600 version hold up on the 9780...? any improvements or issues that users are having...

Ps. Note I have not yet updated the firmware of my 9780 since I got in, 1 month ago, go I think I'm still on .294.......

.600 is not easy on the battery I have found. Though your BB browser is updated and maybe some stability tweaks. TBH i prefer the original 2.94 to .570 seems that our official updates for the networks are released really late. I think I just may wait before .600 is released as an official in SA before I upgrade as I do not have the time or the confidence to follow all the steps to upgrade "unoficially"

Correction, I mean .570 is not easy on the battery...

You will wait for at least another year. Vodacom is not big on "releasing" regular updates.
