LCD and Plasma Bargains and Discussions thread

I think it's nice he feels so passionate about his TV... always good to have passion! :)
Keep going Postman! Spread the word and let no one crush your dreams! You fight for what you believe in!

Just be careful you don't end up like the Opel Monza guy in the motoring subsection...

Saw thus in the makro pamphlet:

Samsung 46" smart LED UA46F5500 was 10,499 now 7999

If LED is your thing...

please can someone comment on the Samsung 32" F4000 HD LED television @ R3 500.

it's for a boy of 16 for his bedroom and i'd like to confirm that he can connect a speaker system (Samsung ME430D) and can watch movies from his USB.

makro have the 32EH4003 @ R3 300 but that's an older model with fewer input/output options.

tks

Is this a new model?

Not worried too much about FHD, mainly watch UK SD content via usb.
No DStv anymore, but living room gets quite bright in the afternoons.

Yes, H range is the latest.

And it will be reflective in a bright room. At least make sure no sunlight falls directly on it, that's your main concern.

852x480 though... My PS42C450 (C = 4 years old) is even 1024x768.

Thanks! No direct sunshine luckily. Keep the curtains closed when it's very bright.

Explain to me about the resolution. I thought with plasma it's not such an issue? Why would Samsung go lower?

Get some curtains with the blocking feature.

Also in the world of UHD; ED tv's should be going real cheap. But no.
