Seeing as the Plasma Expert is here which Plasma would you recommend for a series 6 LED replacement UA55F6400
I would replace your LCD with this for R14k:
Or you could go up to F8500 / 8 Series if you have bucks to spend.
We're very limited in choice of plasmas.
Paid 14k for it so spec for spec the plasma doesn't have 3d although bigger..
If you need 3D/SMART, go with the PS60F5500.
Pentile matrix displays are crap.

Tx. Anyway will have a look !
In other words, stay away from brightly lit stores. And stores with salesmen paid a penny who know little, who tell you what they are told to tell you.
+1
And make sure both settings are correct on both sets. They've been instructed to to dull the plasma purposely and try sway your choice. Another thing check the source on both sets are equal - they have a habit of feeding different sources into conning you the one is better than the other.
Lastly - but most important - do not look at the salesman directly ... rumour has it these guys can make you buy anything just by telling you. A friend of a friend of a friend went to buy an LCD and came out with a washing machine because the salesman said so
Sarcasm doesn't become you :erm:
Ok ok ok - but only the last bit is sarcasm ...
The rest is true according to what I've read - lights, different modes/settings, extra comm/payment and fake sources into different sets in order to push the one with the highest margin and kill the other off
How is the PS51E550D1R guys?
Very similar to the F5500. Why?
That's the one you can only really watch at night because of the poor light performance - right?
Think it was listed at the worst plasma TV - ever - for a bright room. So if you have windows, just be weary with buying it. However you should get some decent specials on those now as it's old tech. My grandparents often told me about the fire sales they ran on Betamax and 8 track units after the technology was declared dead. Keep on guzzle.co.za

Ok feel free to ignore that parts I put in the post to irritate PP ...
However, it is dim - noticeably so. Pretty much most of the reviews say it's a decent TV but degrades substantially in a room with light. I'm not sure what Samsung did with this partuclar model or if it was just a flop? So just watch that if you go look it
