+1Slightly off topic. But why doesn't anyone bring in Vizio TVs. The seem like excellent value for money.
I have also seen numerous reviews and comparisons where they are highly recommended for value for money.

hisense at esquire going for quite cheapHi guys,
I am looking at getting a tv for the bedroom. Budget is no more than R5k since I want to get a TV for Xbox-gaming, etc as well.
On the TV for the bedroom, I will be watching downloaded content, maybe DSTV SD, etc. I am not too brand fussy for this TV, but want best bang for the buck. I must mention, I only have 1m to fit the the TV in. So I guess 42" / 43" is pushing this.
Any suggestion?
Hi guys,
I am looking to buy a tv that will be used for gaming (xbox one and wii), watching downloaded content and streaming. My budget is currently about R10k. Viewing distance is about 2,5m-3,5m.
I have googled quite a bit, but can't find most tvs in SA or cannot afford them.
I currently have a Samsung 51e550 plasma. I am considering using it for the gaming and getting tv for main lounge. Main lounge viewing distance is 3,5m-4,5m. The main lounge have very little sunlight. The "Games" room, have alot more. Most windows have curtains except for a sliding door going out to a sun room.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.I'd suggest keeping your plasma for the main lounge (dim), and getting a LED-LCD for the games room (potentially brighter).
Otherwise try go for another plasma if you are happy to use curtains. Remember that in a few months, you won't be able to get them. Prepare to take a picture quality knock going LCD, seeing as you're used to plasma.

Thanks.
Wish I had the funds to get a 60" plasma .![]()
