LCD and Plasma Bargains and Discussions thread

So... still can't find a Full HD 32 inch.

Anyone ever come across one? When are the 2016 models coming though?

Interested in buying the UA65JS8000. Any opinions on the TV? Either that or the 65" 950 LG. Any of you guys have either? Any suggestions? Reason for the above is, I don't like curved tvs much.. the above are both flat and seem to be the quality I'm looking for.

The sammy is a good TV

I am also looking for a 55 - 65 inch UHD or FHD Tv. There are just so many to choose from. I dont really want to spend more than 20k so my options are limited. If there is something amazing for 30k ill consider it.

Its quite a difficult task with all these choices:P

Managed to find this FHD 32inch from @Equire.
It's a discontinued product and I will be using it for watching the occasional movie/series and just as an extra gaming monitor if I need to.
Most of my gaming is done on the Dell but... I sometimes want a dual screen setup.

Thoughts on this?

Hi, any advice for which of the below two will be better in the long run, mostly to watch content on my HDD:
Hisense Ledn48k300u UHD for R6500 or Hisense 48k220wt for R7000

The 2nd tv does have smart capabilities which I know will play various file formats as I have tested it at a friends place. But will the UHD also play all the file formats. Also is UHD really worth it considering not much content is available.

Thanks

Well that TV isn't a true UHD tv so you'll be replacing it soon as the format really takes the market.

Therefore they are both only going to last so long before the next big thing.

Also a UHD without smart functions even exists?

Also its HiSense.

Save your money man, save your money.

Is Hisense really that bad? Also wouldn't the 4 year warranty provided give some peace of mind?

Thanks though will maybe look at the Samsung models in the 7-8k range.

Wouldn't mind a 55" and 5 years is a long time, but will need to change my display unit to accommodate that size tv.

Think the largest I can fit in is a 50".

I do have a 5 yr old + sinotec in my room and it hasn't given any issues.

HIsense is quite good, havent personally heard of any of them giving issues.

I need to buy a 32" LCD for my mam . Was waiting for the right moment to come along, but my LG went on the blink. Will temp replace mine with the 32" . Any suggestions? Doesn't need to be full HD.

Also, where can I get an LG repaired in the JHB /Randburg area?
