Wall mount is only better if the cabling is chased. It looks tacky otherwise.

Wall mounted looks better and safer, I use trunking thats stuck to the wall with 2way tape
woks fo me, doesnt look too but and was much easier. I can add and remove cables as needed. Currently power, network, two hdmi and an av cable so to chase all of those would take ages.
On a side note: Those of you with 3D Tv's, are the effects better if the tv is on a tv unit or wall mounted? I noticed the efects look much better to me when I'm at eye level with the tv.
