Hi guys,

Quick question.

I wrote my learners for my car when I was 18 (5 years ago) so I can not recall exactly what happened. Since then I have gotten my license and have been driving for years.

I now want to get my learners for a scooter. I have heard people say that the learners test for a car and a motorcycle is the same apart from the controls section? It that the truth?

This is true, but there are also some extra road signs that you have to answer related to motorcycles

Yes.

And no extra road sign questions either.

Maybe they changed it but when I wrote mine back in 2002 and 2004 the questions were exactly the same (paper based) and the only difference was that you answered the relevant sections on motorcycles and cars - ie. controls

There's some extra info needed for motorcycles like carrying loads etc. If you're on Windows Phone download my app or buy the current version of the K53 book.

I did my bike learners two months ago on paper. There are definitely 3 or 4 questions on road signs featuring a motorcycle picture that is different from the car learners
