Lordy...can a GPU take 145c? :p
one thing for certain, you don't need a stove anymore, just attach a conductive platform to your VGA card and while you playing your eggs or whatever will be well done :D

No need to take the hot plate to lans anymore - just use your VGA card.

I bought one of these legend 6600gt cards the other day aswell... runs at about 41 degrees [not sure if its celcius of farenheit] but i installed need for speed most wanted and PUMPED the graphics to max [1280X1024 on my 19" LCD].. taunted some police cars and had a high speed police pursuit chase for about 45 minutes straight with the graphics maxed out... ran fine. Once i was done i checked the temp and it was only on about 47-48 degrees. I'm running an athlon xp 64 3000 with 1gig ram.

its a major improvement to my old msi 5900

and the other kewl thing is I run my world of warcraft at 1280X1024 everything maxed out with 8X anti aliasing and it looks really sweet and is soo smooth

I have [to this point] no regrets in purchasing this card

Bought one last week for R1100 from a dealer in Kyalami. Still testing it. I double checked that temperature setting of 145 deg and strues it says celcius. Started testing it on 3dmark05 and o/c 570/1100. "Return to Polycon" starts nicely at 17 fps and peddles backward to average 7 fps. Extended testing temp climbs from 53 deg to 78 deg. Will try flog it some more and see what happens.
