Gainward offer 2 cards as mentioned above. The Golden sample is there to compete with the BFG OC card. BFG dont make a "stock" card while Gainward have one that runs 10MHz faster so it it slightly above the other "standard" cards.
The Golden Sample cards are not even much more expensive than the others. When I got my 5900Ultra Golden Sample a few years back it was around R4600 compared to between R6000 and R7000 for the other makes.
Now just because the Gainward card is faster than yours dont try to compare yours against the slower model.

They are not the same store but I know for a fact I can get the Gainward card for cheaper thaj the BFG one.

Just thought i might share you with that info.
BT Games,havn't heard of them, can you maybe post a link? I wouldnt buy the 7800GT or GTX because the performance gain from a 6800GT/Ultra is not enough to justify the price. But R3600 is a great price.

The bfg tech is the same as the standard 7800GTX but its over clocked. The Golden sample is compleatly different to both cards hence the name "Golden Sample".

Go look at what type of ram they use on the GS and the normal card.
256MB 1.6ns DDR3 on both cards OH MY WORD yep for sure the 256MB 1.6ns DDR3 on the Golden sample is quite different from the 256MB 1.6ns DDR3 on the standard card.
All they do is from the heaps of ram and GPU's they get the prime examples go into the GS cards nothing "different" about them.
Give me proof that they are "not the same card"

We have some of the Legend cards for testing here. I've met with Legend's local rep. They're a well known brand in AU and Asia, but not in the european territories.
The AGP 6600GT seems to run nice, and it's priced well. It did well in the review. The 7800GTX they have me reviewing personally clocks 490/1400 stable with a 55C case temp in our sweltering office. Try getting a "name brand" card to manage that and still cost under R4000.
