What are some legitimate ways to clock up 60GB-100GB a month in downloads? (Apart from Linux distro's, that is)?

Easy one is just buying movies/games/series online for download. Not very popular in SA yet obviously, and I'd rather have the actual products myself. Otherwise I'd pirate them.

I did like 60GB of Steam downloads 2 months back :)

Watch a couple of HD YouTube videos / ZA News episodes on M&G / DSTV on demand ...

Its fairly easy to do 100GB of legal downloads if you actually try, but going beyond that!?

why are you trying to break a certain amount? just use it as you like, and dont bother checking it - i dont see how this post makes any sense. And yes its very easy to 60GB of legal things.

Oh and all the people here check this out (i know its kinda old but its still awsum)
Steam is giving away Half Life: deathmatch and Half Life: Lost Coast to anyone who has an ATI Graphics Card.
Steam is giving away the same + Portal v1 to anyone who has a Nvidia Graphics Card.

go check it out

Steam and youtube are big ones that can rack it up quite easily.

Also there are other sites out there as well eg: Joost. I remember when they had the entirety of Lexx on it, watched the whole series.

Second Life should be added here too, for those in that. Radio streaming is popular too. Image hosting sites like DeviantArt.

The point of the OP was as follows: A colleague of mine was asked, in passing, by a techie from telkom how he managed to clock up 40 GB in 2 weeks. It got me thinking...
No way itunes or radio streaming, second life is going to do it, I think.

on itunes:
one (45min) HD tv show is about 600mb
one (2hr) hd movie is about 3-4.5gb

can easily be done.....using just itunes.
