Taking an AA position should be a "once off".

You get to take such a job ONCE ONLY. Currently people are hopping from one to the next like kangaroos. How on earth can someone earning R300K+ a year be "disadvantaged"?

Now whose fault is that? People who don't feel valued/add value to their organisation will simply jump ship to the next highest offer. I definitely would never hire someone whose worked for three companies in one year( I know several of these guys/gals) who are just R3000 away from quitting their jobs.

How narrowminded. Millions of black people were oppressed forcibly. They were denied access to the highly subsidised education white people received. Not to mention they were not elligible for the cushy jobs that were reserved for white people. I'm against the way it is being implemented currently - but make no mistake - it is entirely necessary.

Black people were oppressed. It will take time to get to the point where they can participate on an equal footing with white people. Period.

But if all those grade 1's are the same age as the grade 12's then there is no reason why they cannot play rugby against them. Intellectually speaking Rugby players are mostly on grade 1 anyay.

It is, and because it is being implemented so badly it is heavily exploited. There is no easy fix. But AA is the only fix.
