Hi all,
Living in the western Cape and my lemon tree almost died due to lack of water. Now there are new shoots coming from some of the branches. Should I cut off all the branches that don't have new shoots?

Thanks!

Hi.

I'm not a pro but from experience with my own trees, I don't suggest it. If branches are non-productive, they will die, dry, and fall off on their own.

You didn't see the shoots coming, so how do you know the other branches (currently without shoots) won't develop some later?

Just my 2c. So hopefully someone with professional knowledge can advise better.
