Let's play UT 2004 / UT3

Not sure. UT99 is the only version StoneCold got running. We could maybe start earlier since thats the only version we can play.

Did you experience any lag while you were on it earlier ? :)

UT2K4 master server browser takes way longer to respond, but don't mind hosting one.

Will look into UT3 again tomorrow.

There was a little bit of lag when you are close to someone. If i'm further away from the action, its fine. Could even be my PC.

Actually UT 3 would be cool, I bought iy ages ago as part of a Steam pack and never installed it...

Installing it, hopefully some people wanna play tomorrow.
 
Had those games a very long time ago, where can I get them again to join ? Which one should I get then ?

Currently playing ut99 on stonecold server, if you search for servers. Will be doing ut3 there is also ut2004, but we've not set that for a match yet :)

If there is local dedi we can use that, else someone has to host. Times from 6, but better if we have a set time like 7pm or 8pm. This now being tomorrow... (saturday 6th jan)
 
crap I just installed wanted to check if , I could connect to a game .... you know normally we have such connection issues

Have to say hideinlight is a beast with his latency, can't believe he played that good. Will get to work on UT3 and see if I can get a server going for tomorrow evening :D

Venom my server is still online, you're welcome to hop on, I can join you for a game or 2 if you'd like to check it out. There are bots on the server for you to play against.

Soz I had a phone call wasn't at my pc, it's a UT99 server. But I'll get cracking on a UT3 one for tomorrow and let you guys know :)
 
@Venom: Will reply to your pm in a little while

I managed to setup a UT3 dedicated server, the only problem is, I can't join it myself, however, if I start it up as listen server via the game, then it works. So we'll have to check and see what works best. If you guys can join me on a listen server it would be sweet, but if I can't join the dedicated server, I don't mind hosting it for you guys, I have family coming to visit me tonight :)

The dedicated server is up and running at the moment called "Ston3Cold: Mybroadband.co.za Server" I set it up with a bots vs humans 1:1 ratio, so I'm hoping that it would add 1 bot for each person connecting to the server. I'm not 100% sure if it will work that way, but if anyone can test out if they can connect it so long, and provide feedback that would be sweet.

PS: Will see if I can solve the issue of me not being able to join my dedicated server and keep you guys posted.

PS2: Server going down for the time being, going to reinstall my game, think I botched up my cdkey.

Try joining your server via LAN, not internet. I have the same problem with rFactor. Hopefully it helps you as well.

Aaah I was wondering why I could not find anything, just finished installing it and played about 5 rounds of solo player to see how the game looks.

Not to bad either, dont know why I skipped this game when it came out, guess must have been to much wow....
