Let's play UT 2004 / UT3

I'm almost done downloading the dedicated server files, but I think it'll also be pointless, I've basically tried everything under the sun to get a dedicated server going otherwise, but will give it one last shot. Otherwise, listen server it is.
 
Good news guys, my perseverance paid off and finally got a dedicated server running which allows me to connect to it as well :D

Server will be called StoneZA: MyBroadband.co.za Server

Will enable Skilled bots so feel free to join it when you get this message of mine. Voting I think is enabled after a round ends and is part of the game itself, so I don't know if there are any fancy utilities that we can use like ProVote3 for UT99 ?

If there is, let me know and I'll add it :)

PS: Give me 5 mins and the server will be up

PS2: Server is now online - it's under Team Deathmatch :D

Maybe I am doing it wrong?

This is UT3 I have the Black edition.
 
I'm in, runs good so far.

Elimentals, Also have UT3 BE, I searched under Team Deathmatch.

Make sure your game is updated to version 2.1 (check top left corner on Main Menu). Check your server filter settings, maybe you set something there so that it won't show my server. Make sure you tick those options that show full server, empty servers etc. And remember it's set to TDM, make sure you set your filter to that and that your looking on Internet and not LAN. In the server browser, top right corner, click the drop down box and select Team Deathmatch.

There is one person currently connected to the server, probably Peon, I haven't checked yet, but it's definitely there :)

Hmmm Yes on all accounts can you maybe pm me your IP maybe I can join by specified ip address?

With regards to DM, I think it would be best if I kill the TDM and startup a DM one, but I can try and setup a DM in conjunction with the TDM one.

Is the vote greater for DM than for TDM ?

Otherwise I'll only make a DM server :)

Hmmm the bit I could play was cool

For some reason I DC'ed and now when I want to join its says something about Steam Auth not allow me to play or some crap....

Mmm, are you trying to join via IP or the server browser ? Perhaps you should restart Steam and see if the problem persists.
