What's up with implying I should be grateful it's a 6yr old fragrance because its "vintage" and then making out I can't read that it's a tester when it clearly says UNBOXED and doesn't mention tester anywhere.

Nobody said you should be greatful. I said the website does indicate unboxed and/or tester.

I mentioned some fragrances depending on how they have been handled and stored, could have batch dates dating back 10 years, and the juice would be great still. So the 6 year old bottle you received, was probably just out standing in direct sun, or light or something, and they were unaware.

Granted they could have tested the tester, or checked the dates, but its very rare that places that sell testers etc, will still look at that.

The Kryptomint has decent longevity so far and the dry down seems close enough to Amen to make it a win. It has a bit of a weird maybe even rancid note in the opening but not enough that it kills it, it seems to dry off relatively soon, anyone else notice that note?

A few of the reviews I read mentioned not liking it because it smells more toothpaste menthol than fresh herbal mint, which might be what I'm smelling, its like a slightly unpleasant undertone below the mint.

Edit. Looked at the note pyramid and what I'm smelling and not liking much is probably the Sage.

There's a few designer scents that are similar to Le Male, similar DNA especially in the dry down, I tried one the other day, can't remember what it was.

But Le Male is a winner and not too expensive so I'd also just stick with it, no need to waste money hunting for the holy grail if you've already found it
