sammy food planet's boerewors gadsby is very nice. with a litre frulati, drive to the beach on a hot afternoon. very nice. they have one in kuils river also now. had a good fullhouse there as well. but for me the best is in athlone. there is always a debate about where it started.

but for me i started having them in athlone and thats still my favourite. i have had it at many places but i only have a few favourites. there was an email doing the rounds about gadsby ettiquette. i LOL'd when i read that thing. true word for word...

there is a gadsby appreciation thread on facebook as well. pictures of a couple of monster gebbas on there...

a chip roll on steroids!!!

traditionally a gadsby was a cheap dite but it is common place for it to cost alot now. just feels wrong. but then again when you buy steak, you want to get steak, not horse or dog....:p

I would recomend anyone close to a "Jo Marlin" to get a half calamari gatsby... Its R38 or something.
I asked the guy to "upgrade" my gatsby with extra calamari, which he kindly did for an extra 20 bucks.

Wow, that thing came out stacked with a chips/calamari ratio of 50/50 heheh so it was worth it!

I give it 4 out of 5 slap chips

Yor people talking whole day about gatsbys without me! I smaak a Athlone Fisheries gatsby or Shahs. I think its gatsby for supper tonite.
