For a long time, the gaming galaxy was owned by Logitech and Razer, and some other notable but lesser names when it comes to sales volume. Then the Chinese and Indians took their beers and took over. What is going on???

Ok, so I want this thread to be about recommending not good, but great value peripherals, whether it is mice, controllers, keyboards or headsets, even mousepads, etc.

My gaming keyboard is a Redragon K599, and I have a VXE R1 Pro MAX. I don't think these are made anymore, but my VXE cost me near to nothing at Wootware. I saw Makro sell them at close R 1 800... No.

Wootware is stocking LAMZU and Scyrox. Those brands put the best known names to shame.

I need to replace my Redragon... the switches are starting to give, and yes I can replace them, but the body is dull. Well, it isn't thocking. My carry-around is also a Redragon. They have some really good value keyboards, and currently they have both the BREAGI PRO K688 and Fizz (Magnetic Plus) which are both great. Breagi, though not magnetic (I think), it has extremely good response times.

Though I would opt to go with the Mchose Ace 68 Air or JET 75. Currently, though only available in pink and white, they are below R 1 000 on Takealot. There is a known issue with Mchose, some are reporting it goes unalive and alive again. How vast spread that issue... is unknown, but this is also Wooting crowd vs Mchose crowd.

If you are ever in a mall, just walk through IC, Game, HiFi and Checkers.
Sometimes they have discounted things on those tables.
I randomly bought 3 x Logitech MK345 keyboard and mouse combos for R299 each down from about R600

Also are these worth it vs the R1500 of an xbox controller?
I read somewhere you can link multiple to the one dongle (kids do co-op lego and beachbuggy)

Redragon Phoenix mouse for home and work.
Using an old Marvo Scorpio at the office, Takealot had them for R200 each in 2019, proper mechanical.
Gamesir G7 pro controller for PC, Redragon Zeus headset the pleather flakes like most things do over the years so just used a cover over it.
Hell even my mobo is Chinese now Maxsun Terminator from Wootware
