I signed up for the month-to-month 200/200/Mbps service after leaving Home-Connect. So far, their sales/support has been great. However, I upload backup images of +/- 2TB to a cloud service and this fails dismally. Instead of the 24MBps I get an average speed of 12MBps.

I have been with this ISP for 2 days and already I am regretting it.

Level-7 rep: Is there a plan to improve your international speeds or are you just a local only service?
 
Are you sure it's not related to the Cloud provider?

Have you tried uploading a large file to any other Cloud provider?

Yeah my immediate thought was this as well. I have experienced slow access with Cloud Backup providers here in SA as an example.

Yep, in general all services are painfully slow. Tested various cloud servers, also newsgroup downloads/uploads and torrents. I suspect this ISP throttles international speeds. Time to move to another ISP.

What cloud service are you using?

We don't throttle any services. Can you share a few names so we can take a look ?
 
I am going to log a fault with all the details, but judging by Hello Peter complaints, I am wasting my time.

We aren't active on Hellopeter. You are welcome to share your issue here or otherwise go ahead and log a ticket and DM me the reference number.

If it's a legitimate cloud service the issue shouldn't be hard to diagnose.

Newsgroups there is not much that can be done unfortunately as these are peer to peer services that connect to end users on various types of lines.

Hi Level7, I was about to log a ticket for the international speed issue. I ran a few tests with file transfers and speeds are as I expect them to be:

Try again at netflix time (after work and before bed time) to be sure.
