Openserve finished their work in our neighborhood and I am shopping for fibre deals. Don’t want to get carried away with 100mbs speeds and uncapped data. Currently not a heavy user.

Thus my question. Would their be any negatives if I choose Level 7 as my ISP (they need to do the installation) but but data from VOX? This will equate to a 40mbs line rental from Level 7 (R484) and 200GB data from VOX (R161). Unused data get carried over which is nice. Total=R645 per month.

Any advice or suggestion is welcome.

you might aswell get the fibre line from vox as well, they currently running a promotion free installation and activation.

That equates to R816 going with VOX.
You are right. Should consider the free installation and activation too.

I was not aware that we could have 2 separate ISP on one fibre line--like we could do with ADSL (Telkom ADSL line plus other ISP data)

Only on Openserve fibre. You can use any ADSL data account.

That’s how I have it but when you contact VOX they say it is not allowed. They most probably just want you to do everything with them.

Strongly considering level 7 and using VOX capped data.

My fibre line is with Webafrica and my data account is with VOX.

The times when you had issues, who was responsible or does it depend on the problem? Does webafrica blame VOX and vice versa?

I have not had a problem so I have not contacted anyone.
