did you know that if your phone is unlocked and you double tap the screen it locks?
I didn't.
now imagine you have a short knock code of 2 taps.
(stupid, obviously)
so you think you cant unlock your phone because you mistapped, meantime you keep locking your phone after unlock all the time.
this tiny little feature could be the reason so many people complain that the touch screen is not responsive. I doubt it. but its not impossible....

When you use a 3rd party launcher then it doesn't lock when you double tap. Or is there a setting for that?

Both Nova and Action Launcher (the two I alternate between when I feel like it, has double tap gesture settings).
Cool, thanks fanie. Nova doesn't have a double tap to lock gesture but when I double tap the status bar it locks the screen.

I use this app with nova. I set the double tap to launch this app, which basically locks the phone for the same effect.
