Manually regulating the use of WiFi, Data, Bluetooth and GPS and being a little stingy with the screen brightness can go a looong way into saving a phone's battery so I don't see how that would be the case. Of course it doesn't mean he's doing that but it's quite possible to nurse a 54 hour endurance rating phone (check GSMArena) into a second day.

I want to see the previous screen. Just because there are over 8 hours of screen on time, doesn't mean the phone has been off charger for more than 1 day.

both our phones were on high 50% with just shy of 2 hours sot.

I figured it would be pointless to compare to that.

what time did you take it off the charger? in my previous test the phone was taken off the charger before I went to bed. so in the region of 21 hours of use.

This time I charged it full this morning. Will see where it sits tonight. GPS is on this time though.

Just to get something straight, "Time on" refers to your last charge right.
