LG G4

Hey guys, just got my G4 Moved from a Note 4. Loving it so far. One questiioon tho. Has anyone rooted using One Click Root? Does this void our warranty? All I really want to do with the root is remove the Vodacom bloatware and install the app that lets you use any app on multi screen. Any advice?
 
Kingo root doesn't work. Look a few pages back for a root method.

You can always un root.
 
@Bond Thanks for the heads up. Apparently it does work but you need to give them acess to your pc and it costs 40$. Ridiculous. Will try the other method when I get a chance.

Nothing better than a one-on-one experience with some professional photographers.

I've been to a couple of these before. First time was with the purchase of my first decent camera probably about 9 to 10 years ago.

The last time was about 2 years ago. Even though I can help myself when it comes to all the settings on my G4, it will still be nice to see what professionals do with it. And of course meeting a few G4 owners and see what they do with their phones.

It used to work on 5.0.1 . No easy rooting methods for 5.1.1 exist yet though, only custom flashing pre-rooted roms works at this point.

Those cards aren't as fast as Sandisk Extreme ones in the real world. If you can find a U3 Extreme Plus or even Extreme Pro from them that's the way to go (Takealot pics lie though should you check there first, they only have the Extreme Plus and only in 32GB from what I saw a few days ago (the 64GB Pro is a lie)).

That said I've never go for an SD card bigger than 64GB, should you actually manage to fill almost all of that up it will already be slow, I'd hate to think what a full 128GB would be like. And 4K vids aside there's no way you would ever need that much space anyways.
(No don't come telling me different. You don't need that much space on your phone, full stop. If you need to lug more data around that's what standard flash sticks and external HDDs were made for. And if you tell me you'd like to watch the latest pirated movies whilst waiting at home affairs that doesn't change anything. You've got enough space for a couple, stop being lazy and micro-manage your media daily/weekly instead of lugging around a cupboard of vids)
 
Got this phone on the weeked. It's a beaut..
Haven't gotten to play around with the camera as yet. The hardware is really awesome, feels great in the hand, nowhere near as big as I had imagined a 5.5" screen phone to be. Fits in my pocket no problem. Loving the leather back cover.
I really hope it doesn't start getting slower as I use it more and have more loaded on it... Currently really snappy.

Mine is almost 3 months old and it's still snappy. But then again, I'm moving all my videos and photos to my OTG USB drive so I make sure the onboard storage and SD Card storage doesn't get too low.
