LG G4

I'm more inclined to think that the brightness slider is something that regressed in Android itself?

Anyways I own Lux Auto Brightness (the full paid version) so that I have full control of brightness, in other words I can define my own curve.
 
I have a tempered glass screen protector that has a blue tint to it.

its annoying in the mid day sun, but that is about it.

as far as the touch screen goes, I am very happy with how responsive the G4 is. I play a few games on it, nothing really hectic, and I have never felt I was done in because I was too in accurate with the touch. there might really be a problem with yours if you think your note is more responsive...

Yes, I read a few reviews on Takealot about a blue tint on a certain brand glass, I avoided that one. I picked one up from the Vodashop, R149.00. No tint, very happy.
 
meh the blue is slightly annoying. now if both I bought were not blue that might have lead to a lot less confusion.

honestly, its there to take a beating and die if I drop in so the phone does not. hopefully when I upgrade in two years I still have a blue screen protector on...

Perhaps it's just me getting used to a new phone and how it responds. The touch that I find a bit aggravating is on the edges, but that could be due to very narrow bezel combined with a case. It seems the gesture app I use may also be partly to blame, pita not being able to transfer everything just about perfectly setup with titanium.

Yip it's the gestures app causing it, the bezel is so thin and the combination with a case meant I made the swipe area too wide to try overcome that. My apologies to all for unfairly bringing the G4 into disrepute!
 
Does anyone use their G4 as is without a case? Anyone cracked their screens or dented them?
 
No ones dropped theirs sans cover onto hard cold concrete or nice gravelly tarmac?

I'm not taking chances, got a fugly gel back cover and a tempered glass screen protector that I've just installed(touch is still great with the protector on, now that I've sorted out the gestures app)

Anyone know how much the leather back covers cost on their own?

My phones going to be permanently be in a cover so I'm using the plastic battery cover, might as well sell the Brown Leather cover now when the phones still new and hot.

They sell for R650 @ LG.
 
I have a uag cover. Solid protection but I feel it makes the phone bulky.
