IIRC, we aren't getting the Optimus 2X, but we are getting the 3D. (see here and here)

Where do they get 4GB RAM from? Every other site says 512MB RAM.

Note the lower case b. It's 4 Gigabits, or put more simply, 512 Megabytes.

LG confirmed that they won't be releasing this in SA. What a bunch of morons.
