Liberty Stash App

Hi, i have a xiaomi redmi 3s. Its been almost a week since i made the changes according to the faq but still nothing...
 
Truly a disastrous app. Why on god's green earth can it not work with Capitec cards? Why did it work for me in Sept and October (on another bank's card) but nothing since? Zero transactions went through. What a waste of time and effort. Support non-existent.

Hi I just started with stash about 1 weeks ago withing a short space of time I was near R200 but what I have noticed is my stash amount is decreasing everyday it's going down.
2 )can we see where our money has been invested in eg can we be told what company was our money is invested in and maybe you could enable us to monitor our investment's.
 
I have the exact same problem. I even screenshot my stash lately nd it shrunk with over R60 in the past 2 or 3 weeks. Latest was this morning I got a pop up saying my stash grew by R8 meanwhile it shrunk by 8. I dnt trust this app anymore. I also calculated all my stash nd theres like R140 short ...

See, this is the problem with Stash. The people who they target don't know what it does or how it works. No offense to you guys, the Stash site makes it difficult to find this information.

1. First thing you should know is that it is stashing that money into a tax free savings account (TFSA). I'm not going to go into the depths of it but there are lifetime limits as to what you can do with that account. All earnings in it (interest, dividends etc.) are completely tax free though.

2. Your money is stashed into a Top40 fund. My guess would be that it is the Stanlib Top 40 fund (http://www.stanlib.com/Institutional/Alternatives/Pages/TheSTANLIBETFRange.aspx)

You are basically invested in the top 40 companies on the JSE. The last week or so the markets all over the world have been "crashing" and lost a lot of value, in total over $4 trillion. You guys are part of that. When the markets inevitibly rises again your Stash accounts will increase in value.
 
I would actually advise against using this app.

I have been trying to cash out my money for a while now with no luck. I stopped using it when I saw the app just does it's own deductions regularly even when I'm not swiping my card. I eventually set all my limits to zero in order to stop it. now I want to cash out and delete the app, I'm having no luck in cashing out. and Stash has no contact numbers where you can query.
 
This doesn't even work for me anymore. I think the last time it worked was around 6 months ago. /shrugs

Payout worked for me without an issue. Just check your credit card or whichever card you used the most, they pay it back as a "REFUND" to the card. I actually dont rememeber getting the notification, but life has been busy and when I checked my 22seven account just now, refund from Libery Stash was there.

App worked 100% for me. Just decided I want to invest somewhere else, although this was a really cool concept, I miss having access to a website on my pc to check things in more detail. So this app and savings method could work for others, but its not for me.

Should've waited. Transferring your TFSA will probably go through next month.
 
Trying to cash out as I've had absolutely no correspondence from liberty since starting. Now they want scanned bank statements and copies if ID ????????????????????????///
Wifes account wont load at all......
 
My apps been saying can't connect for a while now. Anybody experiencing the same problem?
