What consumption is your 3kW?Self consumption is around 65 watts. Considering the sun is out between 8 and 4 that’s bad. 16 hours is about 1kWh of self drain. So only 3kWh really usable since it turns off at 20%
Those people don't have 5kWh of battery.Makes me wonder if parallel inverters are worth it. People add 2 or 3 and each one is pulling 60 plus watts. Not worth it.
Not sure what the 3.6kW is. Can’t measure it. Should have done it when I had the grid still. What consumption is your 3kW?
Why does it turn off at 20%?
Even if they have 2 batteries. You are burning through 2kWh at night just to have that “redundancy”. That seems too much. Those people don't have 5kWh of battery.
Probably similar. So everyone is wasting 1kWh of battery overnight. This should be factored into the calculations when speccing size. Not sure what the 3.6kW is. Can’t measure it. Should have done it when I had the grid still.
Default settings. Turns off at 20.
Yeah definitely.
Settings can be changed. Just haven’t seen the need yet.
If no oven uses the battery typically sits around 50. And can still set the 3.6 to hand over later or take over earlier in the morning if the need arises since its batteries are doing mostly nothing.

No complaints my side. It looks well built and there is a decent amount of infor for it. It’s a rebranded SRNE inverter. Even the manuals look somewhat identical. How is the omnivolt doing? I didn't see that you ended up buying it but saw you installed it in your my solar journey thread.
For the price, the inverter was basically free so yes definitely worth it.No complaints my side. It looks well built and there is a decent amount of infor for it. It’s a rebranded SRNE inverter. Even the manuals look somewhat identical.
There is a thread on Powerforum that discusses it and the issues and fixes. Mostly related to setup. The one that stood out was an error related to the PV. The fix was a battery type setting.
Mine was setup correctly from their factory. I had all the settings already preconfigured correctly.
The only complaint if I can call it that is that the smaller fan in it comes on a bit too often compared to the Axpert clone I have. But it’s not an issue as you ca barely hear it. It’s like 10 times quieter than the Axpert.
For the price definitely worth it.
If it has its capacity then yes.Quick one. LFP battery 5.12kW 1 year and 6m old with 350 cycle count for R7000. Good deal?
