So turns out, after two weeks of silent investigation by mweb, the cable between exchanges has been stolen in Midrand.
As a result we're being routed throught a different path, but the distance means we almost always time out to websites, with a total lack of connectivity during office hours.
Unfortunalty we're trying to run a business out of the house, and adsl seemed the cheapest.
So, does anybody know a way to get Telkom to reinstall the line? Would a complaint to ICASA help?
If not, any ideas on alternative options?
