Quick question, on Genesis are you using HD, HQ, MQ, or LQ? on my 40 inch tv I use the LQ option, and it doesn't buffer, and the picture is stil of decent quality. But as said, I don't use it much

I use MQ on a 49 inch tv...and the quality is decent. I have tinkered with the advance setting you suggested. And no buffering yet. Will see how it goes during the weekend

Good, glad no buffering. Try LQ 480P And see what happens also. I only use LQ

I'm on a 2mb with Vox. I used to be on 4mb but it wasn't really stable in my area. I have my HTPC running Win8.1 and KODI connected via WiFi. On Genesis, HD buffers for about 30seconds on a 45min tv show, about 10 seconds on HQ, not at all on MQ. Smooth playback during the entire runtime. Same for movies. It also depends on the file host, I'd say. Some file hosters take a bit longer to buffer than others, I've noticed. Maybe try a different source instead of letting Genesis autoplay the link ? My router is set to 300mbps for wifi but my wifi dongle is 150mbps. YouTube on KODI doesn't buffer at all set on 720p, nor does the South Park channel which streams at 720p.
