Nothing wrong with having a change of heart/opinion.

Besides the fact that everyone is quick to jump to the family factor but being a rockstar you have to wonder how much time he really spent at home.

And if that time was spent in a depressed and/or drug induced or alcoholic state aren’t they really better off not having to deal with it any more?

There’s nothing worse than having to spend time with someone purely out of politeness or necessity.
 
As I said I would do....... get home and listen to LP music, There are some pretty awesome songs from LP, I never really listened to their music, but have to say that in 2010 one of their songs had around 30 000 views and around 100 subscribers, and then " BANG" in a few later (within 5 years) they had more than 6.5 Million subscribers on You Tube and each of their songs had hundreds of millions of views :wtf: ...... Just goes to show how " A band, or any band out there" that create good sound and music can and will become Famous.

Going to add a few of their songs to my music library for sure:)

When I hear of a suicide, no matter who, I always have a deep sense of anguish. What pushed the person over the edge. How much pain and suffering they had to be going through to take so drastic action. The pain and hurt of the family and friends left behind. Their multitudes of questions which will never be answered.

So immensely sad :cry:

I think this is the final end for the band. While Chester had cancer and was fighting it off, the group broke up and went to do their own thing for a while. I think that's what's going to happen here. Shinoda might go back to doing Fort Minor stuff again.

I don’t know hey. Maybe if you draw the line very thinly.

Even their own wiki page lists them as Alternative Rock first and foremost which is true for me over the vast majority of their stuff as it leans almost to rock pop at points.

Sure there are a few truly nu metal songs but I wouldn’t classify them as that, then we need to throw Rage Against the Machine in there as well and they were around even before Korn.

Anyway where the article finds Chris Cornell to be a nu metal pioneer is completely beyond me.
 
Besides the fact that this really shouldn’t be a major surprise to anyone as “In The End” was enough of a forecast to predict his demeanour.

That only works in hindsight. So many words are sung every day by people who don't really mean them or intend following up on them.

Yeah I guess.

It always seemed pretty personal and depressing to me while other people just considered it a cool song.
