Linking 2 384DSL lines

In the days of ISDN, you could link 2 64kbps channels to get an effective 128kbps.

Given that with Telscums new pricing it costs more for 1 512kbps (R326) line than 2 384kbps lines (2x R152), I wonder if you could link these together to get an effective 768kbps line?

Also in the case above would you require 2 ISP accounts or can you link to 1 ISP account?
 
You're going to pay R111 analog line rental twice (one for each line) so it wouldn't work out anyway.

It might in situations where you already have 2 or more phone lines, businesses etc. You'd have to get a load balancing router etc. though, probably not worth the effort.

This wont work, since the connections will have unique IPs.
 
As posted above, you could just get yourself a router that does load balancing and has more than 1 WAN port.

If I rememeber correctly, they cost a fortune.

I'd like to know if you get this to work for you, it might be worth looking at.
