Linking Explora with SD PVR

Just back on the thread about connecting an explora and SD PVR with xtraview - If, for instance, you have a recording on the explora, can you watch that on the SD PVR tv or vice versa?
My instincts tell me no but would just like to confirm.

Sorry for leach/revive. I have a question regarding this extraview setup. I know extraview requires a connection of sorts between both decoders through which a "heartbeat" signal is transmitted. Is this required for this setup? If so, how should it be wired? Explora RF out -> SDPVR RF in? Thanks in advance.

yes it is required.
you can set it up however you feel RF in to RF in, Rf Out to RF out and Rfin to RF out or vice versa, as long as this is what you put in the xtraview settings on the decoder.

The plot thickens... I am planning on putting both decoders in a closet and running RF from both the Explora and the SD PVR to some TVs, each equipped with a TV Link. After reading up a bit, I have come up with two possible wiring plans. A relies on a no-dc-pass splitter to deliver the remote link commands to the sdpvr, while B) Uses the explora to relay the commands. Will they work? Which would be better? Or is there another way?

Hi All, Firstly thank you for all the tech input here, I am on the point of getting an Eplora and I want to link it with a SD single view decoder as an extra view, I had a look at a video of the multiport explora box, my question is, where do I link the LNB cable that goes to the extraview decoder and does the Explora have a "heart beat" cable port as well, thank you in advance.
